ANNUAL MEMBERS MEETING

MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL MEMBERS MEETING OF OREGON WASHINGTON COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION MANAGERS (OWCAM) HELD ON JUNE 14, 2005, AT THE HOLIDAY INN DOWNTOWN, PORTLAND OR.

Rich Thompson, Executive Director

Members Present: AS INDICATED ON SIGN-IN SHEET ATTACHED TO THE ORIGINAL MINUTES.

CALL TO ORDER

Ron Balash called the meeting to order at 12:10 P.M.

II. PROOF OF NOTICE

Rich Thompson reports that the annual notice and proxy was sent to all members on May 4, 2005 via email.

III. APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MINUTES

AGREED

Upon motion made by Cheryl Brendle, seconded by Marshall Fant, and unanimously carried the reading of the minutes was waived and approved as submitted.

IV. OFFICER REPORTS

1. Treasurer - George Carter reported on the finances of OWCAM.

2. President – Ron overviews the purpose of OWCAM. He thanked the committees and membership for their support. A discussion ensued regarding what OWCAM needs to be to meet the needs and budgets of the member companies. Ron expresses his appreciation of the Affiliate Members; without whom OWCAM could not exist. He introduces the sponsors: Levin and Stein and Alpha Ecological Pest Control for today’s meeting.

V. COMMITTEE REPORTS

1. Educational Certification Committee Report - George Carter reports that CACM will share with OWCAM everything they have, including their tests. This will allow OWCAM to jumpstart the education/credentialing program. He thanks Marshall for making this contact for the organization.

2. Expo Committee - Lisa Campbell introduced the committee members and thanked them for all their hard work on making the 2005 Expo successful. She reported that there was a 67% increase in attendees and 47% increase in sponsors from the previous year.

3. Marketing, Media, Communications - Diane Wood introduced the committee members. She reported that the committee is preparing brochures to introduce OWCAM to realtors, title companies and other and organizations.

4. Program Committee – Victoria Sanger reported that the committee has started to gather feedback via member surveys and have made many improvements in the programs.

5. Membership - Steve Brodehl reports that he is a committee of one and asks for volunteers. He thanks Rich Thompson for his hard work as Executive Director.

VI. ELECTION OF DIRECTORS

Nominated to run for election to the Board were the following members:
