MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE OREGON WASHINGTON COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION MANAGERS HELD ON FRIDAY, JULY 16, 2004, AT HOLIDAY INN LOCATED AT 1441 NE 2^ND AVENUE, PORTLAND, OREGON AT 8:00 A.M.

I.   CALL TO ORDER  Cheryl Brendle called the meeting to order at 8:10 A.M.

II.  2004-2005 OFFICERS APPOINTED   The following officers were elected to serve:

President:               Ron Balash

Vice President:        Steve Brodehl

Secretary:               Cheryl Brendle

Treasurer:              George Carter

III. COMMITTEE APPOINTMENTS  The following committees were established and a director was appointed to serve as liaison:

Program - Cheryl Brendle

Education - George Carter & Marshall Fant

Marketing/Promotion - Marshall Fant

Media & Communications – Rich Thompson

Expo - Rich Thompson

Legal/Legislation & Condo Working Group Liaison - Ron Balash & Rich Thompson

Membership – Steve Brodehl

IV. NEXT MEETING – AUGUST 10, 2004   Ron Balash suggested that the August meeting be used to hold a discussion with the members about where the organization is going and how it can be most useful to the members. He will spearhead this meeting. Time will be allotted to organize the committees as well.

V. BOARD MEETINGS – LOCATION CHANGE  It is determined that the next meeting of the Board of Directors will be held at Sterling Properties’ office. Ron will confirm the meeting date with the directors.

VI. ADJOURNMENT  Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the meeting was adjourned at 10:00 A.M.
