BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2005

 

MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING OF OREGON WASHINGTON COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION MANAGERS (OWCAM) HELD ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2005, IN THE OFFICES Of MULTI SERVICES, 5200 SW MACADAM AV, STE 160, PORTLAND, OR  97201.

 

PRESENT:                                                     Ron Balash, President

David Hummel, Vice-President

Lisa Campbell, Secretary

Steve Brodehl, Director

Steve Barber, Director

Rich Thompson, Executive Director

I.                  CALL TO ORDER

Ron Balash called the meeting to order at 8:35 A.M.

 

II.       APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MINUTES

 

Agreed: Upon motion made by Steve Brodehl, seconded by David Hummel, and unanimously carried the minutes of the November 8, 2005 Board of Directors Meeting were approved .

 

III.      2006 BUDGET

Rich Thompson presented the proposed 2006 budget.

 

Agreed: Upon motion made by Steve Brodehl, seconded by Lisa Campbell, and unanimously carried the Board approved the 2006 budget.

 

IV.       SENATE BILL 955 MAINTENANCE PLAN

A discussion ensues on OWCAM’s position with the SB 955. It is important to be apart of establishing what the management companies will do once it is decided how to implement the operations manual.

 

Rich Thompson reports that the next roundtable meeting is scheduled for December 14, 2005. The purpose of the meeting is to ask the different committees (by industry) their comments/ideas/views. The goal is to have a sample maintenance plan/manual that everyone can agree with.

 

Steve Brodehl would like to include other developers in being heard on this issue.

 

V.        NEXT MEETING DATE

 

The next regularly scheduled Board of Directors meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 in the offices of NW Community Management at 8:30 A.M.

VI.       ADJOURNMENT

 

Agreed: Upon motion made, seconded, and unanimously carried, the meeting was adjourned at 10:05 A.M.
